Sinclair Park Recreation Centre 

Sinclair Park Recreation Centre (SPCC) followed a collaborative Integrated Design Process (IDP) towards the goal of a LEED Silver Accreditation. The process involved working closely with representatives from the City and Community Centre to establish a consensus-based building program. The building itself is an 18,000 square foot 1-storey with basement and the resulting design embodies the wishes of the community; open and flexible multi-use spaces, large amounts of natural light, easy supervision and no corridors, high durability and low maintenance, and best practices barrier-free/accessible design.
