University of Winnipeg Student Assocation Daycare

M Builds began construction in March of 2009 and achieved occupancy completion in 5 months by August 20, 2009. Featuring a long rectangular building footprint, this unique design serves 112 daycare spaces for the University of Winnipeg Students Association (UWSA). This LEED Silver-certified building will model a range of leading-edge environmental technologies to foster sustainability and energy efficiency. The UWSA Day Care is used as a practicum site for training students in Early Childhood programs from St. Boniface College, Red River College and University of Winnipeg students enrolled in Education, Psychology and Developmental Studies
