About the Project
Completed in October 2012, this design-build project was built on a green site and is now the new home for Vitran Express Winnipeg. This building consists of both an office side and a warehouse side. The warehouse side features docks that allow up to 60 trucks to dock in. The mechanical and electrical components allow employees to work with propane and electrical forklifts. There is also a substantial amount of room for storage which is very important in the transport industry. The building also features its own independent fire sprinkler and automatic carbon monoxide sensor system that corresponds with their fan operations.
